Over the next couple of weeks we are going to be discussing topics such as decision making, interdependence, social contracts and ideology etc. Sounds fun, right? I'm going to do my best to make this as interesting and exciting as possible by integrating the use of iPads, Vine assignments, skits etc. but it is still very important that you are able to grasp the concept of each topic we discuss. An easy to way to 'stay ahead of the game' is to spend 5-10 minutes the night before researching the topics we will be learning about. Not only will this cut out some confusion but will allow you actively participate in class. If we want to do fun assignments, that takes time away from lecturing, reading textbooks and other traditional learning methods. This means that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to spend a little bit of time at home preparing for lessons. For homework, I want you to spend some time looking up the following definitions: Politics, Decision Making, Interdependence, Social Organizations & Social Contracts. In your own words, create a definition that will make sense to you. You will not receive a mark for copying and pasting--summarize, paraphrase and make it easier for you to understand. This is an easy way to gain homework check marks and you can submit your answers from your phone.
